How to use ProPitch

Your complete step-by-step guide

Everything you need to book a pitch, join a gym, run a venue, or manage on-site customers — explained simply for every type of user.

Overview

A marketplace for booking football pitches, gym memberships, knockout tournaments, and Group Play friend shares across Nigeria.

1Browse pitches and gyms on the web or mobile app — no sign-in needed.
2Venues are pitch-only, gym-only, or a combo of both.
3Book one-off slots, season packages, host knockout tournaments, or split a pitch with Group Play.
4Four roles use the platform: bookers, owners, attendants, and ProPitch admins.
5Everything — discovery, booking, payment, tracking — happens in one place.

For bookers

Find a venue, pick a slot, pay, and track it — accounts are optional.

1Search by location or name on the landing page or in the app.
2Open a venue to see photos, amenities, freebies, and prices.
3Pick a date, a time slot, and a 1-hour or 2-hour duration.
4Check out as a guest with just your name, email, and phone — or tick 'create an account'.
5Review the price breakdown: pitch price + 5% convenience charge (capped at ₦10,000) + 7.5% VAT = total.
6Pay securely via Paystack; your slot is held for 15 minutes while you pay.
7Get a unique tracking code (e.g. PF-ZD22ZT) the moment payment succeeds.
8Track any booking from the Track page — it shows venue, address, timeslot, live countdown, and status.
9Book a whole season at once (e.g. every Sunday 7–11am for a year) with one payment and one tracking code.
10Host a knockout or one-day tournament: choose any team count (e.g. 6), date window, and match length — ProPitch plans fixtures from free slots and charges once.
11Join a gym by picking a plan; you'll get a membership ID (GM-XXXXXX) and monthly auto-renew.
12Registered on-site without the app? Link that membership later in the app under My Memberships → Link.

Group Play

Host pays first, unlocks an invite link, and friends buy seats — in the app or at propitch.ng/group-play/CODE.

1In the ProPitch app open Play → Host a game and pick an Instant booking pitch (Assisted venues are not supported yet).
2Choose kick-off, duration, and seat count (e.g. 10 for 5-a-side).
3Accept the Group Play terms: pitch share is refundable before confirm; the ProPitch seat fee is non-refundable.
4Pay your own seat first — sharing stays locked until the host is paid.
5Copy or WhatsApp the invite link (propitch.ng/group-play/CODE) once it unlocks.
6Friends open the link, accept terms, and pay with Paystack — no app install required.
7The pitch confirms when enough seats have paid to cover the pitch cost and the minimum player count.
8If the host cancels or the game expires underfilled before confirm, pitch shares refund; ProPitch fees are kept.
9Show the booking code at the gate when the game is confirmed.

For owners

1Sign up and register your facility with name, address autocomplete, photos (up to 5), pricing, and facility type.
2Enter bank settlement details at registration — Paystack subaccount is created after admin approval.
3Wait for ProPitch Admin approval — new venues start as pending.
4Once approved, get your own workspace subdomain (e.g. your-venue.propitch.ng).
5From the dashboard, manage photos, prices, operating hours, blockouts, and add-ons.
6Set weekly club reservations (e.g. Gbadun FC every Sunday 7–10am) so those times stay off the public calendar.
7Allow or pause knockout tournament bookings per pitch; view fixtures organizers have locked in.
8Offer freebies (water, bibs, refereeing) and paid add-ons (video recording).
9Create gym membership plans with names, prices, and benefits when gym is enabled.
10Listing is free for owners forever — no monthly subscription. You keep 100% of the pitch/gym price; ProPitch only retains booker convenience fee + VAT.
11See every gym member — app-joined and on-site — with counts per venue.
12Send payment and renewal reminders individually or in bulk for expiring memberships.

For attendants

Staff accounts for booking walk-ins and registering cash gym members.

1Log in with the attendant account your owner created for you.
2Book walk-in customers on-site — cash is paid in person and the slot is confirmed instantly.
3Walk-in bookings carry no platform fees, and still get a tracking code.
4Register on-site gym members for cash — they get a GM-XXXXXX code, no app needed.
5View all members (on-site vs app-joined), filter them, and send reminders.

For ProPitch admins

The platform team keeps the marketplace healthy.

Payments & pricing

Transparent fees, automatic payouts, and free cash walk-ins.

1Bookers pay a 5% convenience charge (capped at ₦10,000 per slot) plus 7.5% VAT on (pitch/gym price + convenience) — shown upfront at checkout.
2Example: ₦50,000 pitch → ₦2,500 convenience + ₦3,938 VAT → booker pays ₦56,438; owner receives ₦50,000.
3Owners receive 100% of the pitch or gym package price in their linked bank account — no commission taken from the venue price.
4ProPitch retains only the convenience fee and VAT from each online payment.
5Season and tournament bookings use the same fee math across every locked slot.
6Group Play buy-in = pitch share (venue price ÷ seats) + a non-refundable ProPitch seat fee (default ₦1,000).
7Cash walk-ins booked by attendants are completely free of platform fees.
8On registration, owners verify their bank details; after approval Paystack creates a subaccount so payouts split automatically.
9Every payment is logged with a reference, amount, and status you can reconcile.

Booking lifecycle

The Track page updates live — "Starts in 3 hours", "In progress", or "Expired".

PendingSlot held, awaiting payment.

ConfirmedPaid — slot locked in.

CompletedThe slot time has passed.

ExpiredHold timed out without payment.
